Download gratis Microsoft Security EssentialsLive OneCare akan dijual di pasar ritel mulai akhir Juni. Menurut Microsoft, mereka akan menghadirkan produk yang lebih fokus ke masalah keamanan agar dapat melayani konsumen secara lebih baik. Security Essentials adalah jawabannya.
Microsoft Security Essentials bekerja dengan sistem operasi Windows XP, Vista, dan Windows 7. Antivirus itu disebut mampu menangani berbagai virus, spyware, rootkit, dan Trojan.
Software gratisan juga ditawarkan oleh Panda Security dengan produk Panda Cloud Antivirus pada April lalu. AVG Technologies dan Symantec juga memiliki solusi gratisan yang sama. Namun, Theresa Burch, Direktur Tim Keamanan Software Microsoft, mengatakan pihaknya tidak akan merebut konsumen perusahaan-perusahaan itu. Sasarannya, kata Burch, adalah pengguna komputer yang belum memiliki software antivirus Esential final telah rilis, bagi anda yang lagi mencari-cari anti virus gratis MSE ini bisa menjadi suatu alternatif. MSE tersedia untuk Windows XP 32 bit dan windows 7 32bit/64.
